Screen enclosures in St. Cloud
St. Cloud has grown very fast, and the enclosure stock splits sharply between the two eras. The new subdivisions east and south of town have large modern cages that are structurally fine and simply need mesh. The older streets near East Lake Toho have enclosures decades old, sitting close to open water, where corrosion and fastener failure are the real story and the torn screen is only the symptom.
What the housing here means for your cage
The lakefront side gets wind off East Lake Tohopekaliga with very little to break it, so tension and fastening standards matter more there than on a sheltered inland cage. Newer construction further out is more forgiving, but the cages are considerably bigger, and a large span rescreened at the wrong tension will sag within a season.

My cage sits on the lake. What should I expect?
More wind load and more corrosion than an inland cage of the same age. We look at the fasteners and the footings on the windward side first, because that is where a lakefront enclosure gives up.
Why does tension matter so much on a big enclosure?
A long span rescreened too loose will sag and start flapping in the first storm, and flapping mesh tears at the spline. On the larger St. Cloud cages this is the single most common reason a rescreen fails early.
Do you charge more to come out to St. Cloud?
