Is no-see-um mesh worth it in Lake Mary?
On a lakefront or pond-backing lot, usually yes — standard 18x14 fiberglass does not stop no-see-ums, and spring and autumn are exactly when you want the cage. Further from water the case is much weaker and we will tell you so.
My Timacuan cage is from the eighties. Is it worth rescreening?
Usually yes. On Timacuan-era enclosures the aluminum is typically still sound and it is the fasteners and spline channel that have gone. We check that before quoting, and if the frame is past saving we say so rather than sell you screen for it.
Can you rescreen a two-storey Lake Mary cage in one day?
Sometimes, but we would rather commit to two days and finish early than promise one and leave you with a half-screened cage overnight. Height and panel count decide it, and we will tell you at the estimate.
