Pool Screen Repair in
Apopka, Florida
About half an hour west of us. We rescreen pool cages and lanais across Apopka with heavy-duty Phifer fiberglass, no-see-um, pet-resistant or solar mesh — and we look at the frame before we quote the screen.

Screen enclosures in Apopka
Apopka spreads a long way, and the job changes noticeably depending on which part of it you are in. The Wekiva side backs onto conservation land and river basin, which brings real insect pressure and the kind of tree cover that drops debris on a cage all year round. The newer subdivisions out toward Rock Springs Ridge sit far more exposed, with less shade and more direct sun on the screen. Those are different failure patterns and they should not be quoted the same way.
What the housing here means for your cage
A large share of Apopka’s enclosures came with 2000s and 2010s construction, which means they are still structurally sound and it is genuinely just the mesh that has gone. That is the cheapest kind of job to put right. The older core near the town centre is a different picture, with cages old enough that we look hard at fasteners and footings before quoting the screen.

Permits for Apopka go through the City of Apopka building department, or Orange County for addresses outside the city limits. Replacing screen in an unchanged frame is normally maintenance rather than permitted work, while structural changes generally are not — confirm with them before work starts, and we can tell you who to call. Learn moreApopka questions we get asked
My cage is from the 2000s. Does it need more than screen?
Usually not. Enclosures from that era are generally still square and well fastened, and a straight rescreen is all they want. We check the fasteners while the screen is off, which costs you nothing and occasionally saves a return visit.
Do I need no-see-um mesh near Wekiva?
It is worth considering on that side of Apopka. The basin and conservation land carry real midge pressure in the evenings. It costs some airflow, so we would rather you decided with that trade-off in front of you than have us fit it by default.
Is my address City of Apopka or unincorporated Orange County?
It matters for permitting, and Apopka’s boundary is not tidy. We check it before quoting anything structural, because getting it wrong costs weeks.
