Pool Screen Repair in
Flagler Beach, Florida
Our Palm Coast technician is ten minutes up the road, so Flagler Beach is local work for us rather than a run from Central Florida. We rescreen pool cages and lanais across Flagler Beach with heavy-duty Phifer fiberglass, no-see-um, pet-resistant or solar mesh — and we look at the frame before we quote the screen.

Screen enclosures in Flagler Beach
Flagler Beach is the most exposed ground we work on anywhere. The town is a narrow barrier island with the Atlantic on one side and the Intracoastal on the other, and on the streets east of A1A there is nothing between your enclosure and salt-laden air off the ocean. That shortens the life of the metal, not the mesh. Screws give up first, then the aluminum at cut edges and anywhere two pieces touch, and we have seen cages here where the frame was finished while the screen still looked serviceable. We check fasteners on every Flagler Beach estimate before we say a word about screen.
What the housing here means for your cage
The town's height limit has kept Flagler Beach low-rise, so this is houses and small porches rather than the condo towers further south. A lot of the older stock is concrete block from the fifties through the seventies with screened porches added later, and those additions are where the attachment details get interesting - some were done well and some were not. Newer building on the west side, out toward Veranda Bay, brings conventional modern cages into a town that mostly does not have them. The two need pricing differently and we do not pretend otherwise.

Permits for Flagler Beach go through the City of Flagler Beach building department. Replacing screen in an unchanged frame is normally maintenance rather than permitted work, while structural changes generally are not — confirm with them before work starts, and we can tell you who to call. Learn moreFlagler Beach questions we get asked
Is a rescreen on the beach side worth doing, or will it just corrode again?
It is worth doing, but only if the fasteners go with it. Salt attacks the metal here long before the screen, so tensioning new mesh onto screws that are already failing is what makes people think rescreens do not last in Flagler Beach. Replace the fasteners and a coastal rescreen holds up perfectly well.
Do you charge extra to come out to Flagler Beach?
No. Our technician is based in Palm Coast, ten minutes away, so there is no travel component in a Flagler Beach price. Call or text (386) 387-8884 and you reach the same Poolside office.
Can you work on a screened porch rather than a pool cage?
Yes, and in Flagler Beach that is most of the work. A lot of the older block houses here have porches that were screened in years after they were built, and those are a different proposition from a pool enclosure - smaller, but the attachment detail at the wall matters more. We quote them the same way: on site, before saying a number.
